Pondly is a privacy-first personal finance app. We are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data Storage

All your financial data — including fixed expenses, debts, and credit card records — is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our service:

• Payment information: When you purchase Pondly Pro, your payment is processed by Creem. We receive a checkout ID and license key to verify your purchase. We do not store your credit card information.
• License activation: We store your license key and activation instance ID locally to verify your Pro status. This is sent to our verification server (Cloudflare Workers) only to confirm payment validity.
• No analytics: We do not use any analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring tools.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Creem: Payment processing. Subject to Creem's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: License verification server. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Your financial data exists only in your browser's localStorage and is retained until you clear your browser data or uninstall the app. License information is retained locally to maintain your Pro status.

Your Rights

• Delete all your data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage
• Export your data using the backup feature
• Request information about your payment data from Creem directly

Children's Privacy

Pondly is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pondly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Pondly is a personal finance management web application that helps you track fixed expenses, debts, and credit cards. All data is stored locally on your device. We offer a free tier and a one-time purchase Pro tier.

Pro License

• Pondly Pro is a one-time purchase of $9.99 USD that grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use all Pro features.
• Your license allows activation on up to 5 devices.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your license key to others.
• We reserve the right to revoke licenses that are found to be shared or abused.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with Pondly Pro within 7 days of purchase, contact us at support@cozyutils.com for a full refund. Refunds requested after 7 days are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pondly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Pondly is a personal finance tool and does not constitute financial advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pondly, including any loss of data.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your financial data.
• You agree not to use Pondly for any unlawful purpose.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent the license verification system.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Pondly after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
